@jd1874 I agree. They'll need to make an early impression on the next World Cup to get their kudos back. Or hammer Argentina, Chile etc in some games in the qualifiers.
@dstubberfield I think the last World Cup was probably one too soon for them, in terms of hosting and winning on home soil. Their choice of legit strikers was shocking for a Brazil team!
@avfcmark They don't meet on Saturday much anymore! Sunday, Monday Tuesday...etc
@nigelb6 It is a good idea. Hopefully other clubs will follow suit to mark big occasions. NFL teams play in historical kits sometimes, although part of that is to create a new market of potential shirt sales!
@dstubberfield As a kid I used to love the Brazil team of the 1980's, but they lost that identity in the 90's. Although, they did need to toughen up. They probably lost some of their fear factor for other teams after the 7-1, although that's not influencing this game!
It doesn't matter what Brazil do to France, it's still very hard to take them seriously after their World Cup demolition. I feel like I'm still mourning them.
@nigelb6 I've been thinking that. Benteke off injured in the previous game with a hip injury, having missed the FA Cup quarter final game with the same injury. Surely, with that evidence Sherwood could have put his foot down?
Excellent comprehensive work by the Swiss Ramble as usual on Villa's financial situation & strategy. swissramble.blogspot.ch/2015/03/a...arket.html #avfc
